CHARACTER PLUCK
The Autoharp was invented at the end of the 19th century by a German immigrant in Philadelphia.
Generally it is a stringed instrument, but despite its name, the autoharp is not a harp. In fact, it´s a chorded zither
with 36 steel strings stretched over a soundbox.
We equipped our Autoharp with 5 articulations including a very noble muted version and an organic bowed version.
It´s a perfect instrument to give your music a highlighted color.

Organic Sound
We mainly focused on capturing the notes in a very realistic and organic way. All main articulations were recorded with a cool condenser in four times round robins and 2-3 velocity layers.

Glissando Feature
Utilizing the four articulations we implemented a Glissando feature, which triggers hold down notes by the mod wheel. This glissando can create a tragic and dramatic effect, perfectly fitting in many different music styles and genres.
Strumming Engine
It is effortless to use - you only need to draw your pattern in the sequencer and flip between dead notes and open strokes - that's it. But you are also free to strum manually by selecting the 'strummed' articulation.
