Stratum comes with an expansive array of nearly 70 meticulously curated sounds. 46 of these are crafted from handpicked complex synths, rich textures, and the purest analog waveforms, while the remainder features an exquisite collection of real symphonic string sources: from the ethereal delicacy of a fragile string trio to the evocative warmth of chamber orchestration, and the powerful resonance of full orchestral tuttis. This harmonious blend of both worlds — organic and analog — gives you an unparalleled opportunity to create one-of-a-kind string sounds.

With the simple twist of a single slider, you can effortlessly blend a lush symphonic string patch into the raw, untamed beauty of analog soundscapes.
21 Organic / Real String Sounds
Single Instruments: Violins from solo to ensemble in regular to fragile or our special movement articulation / There are also single cello and bass patches.
Ensembles and Tutti: We have resampled ensembles in many variations. From violin-cello combinations to 7 tutti variations in different layers.
There are also bow sounds and a bowed guitar.
46 Analog / Synthetic Sounds
Pure waveforms, which we have taken from vintage treasures such as Elka Strings, Solina, Prophet 5, Jupiter 4 and 8, CS-60, MiniMoog or JX3P. Complex sounds and textures, some of which we have made especially for Stratum or are Classics from our library.

Here you'll find the whole spectrum from symphonic patches with soft analog support to classic analog pads enriched with tender violins.
But there are also classic vintage sound emulations like Phasing 70 Solina strings, several Mellotron alike sounds and lots of filmmusical hybrid atmospheric strings. There should be something for everyone.
Tone Shaping
- Attack & Decay: Let the sound swell or give it a hard start
- Modulation: Chorus: You can enrich the entire sound with a nice and subtle chorus modulation
- Wow / Flutter: Give your sound that exciting pitch modulation as if your tape is swaying. Extreme and special
- Drive & Lofi: Destroy your beautiful sound or further enrich it with overtones by using overdrive
- Cutoff: Change the frequency response of the sound by removing frequencies
- Reverb: Add one of 8 specially designed convoltion or (when chosing ANALOG) an algorythm reverb to your sound. There is anythiung you need: from basic room to full-fledged sound design options like infinite or clouds
